When not working on her own material, Nishira has worked as technical animator at Sony Imageworks on such films as: Beouwulf  (2007); Monster House (2006); and The Polar Express (2004).  She also worked on Paramount Picture's South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (1999) as an Assistant Art Director, and Technical Director.

In addition to films, Nishira has also worked as an animator on video games, commercials, and TV Projects at The House of Moves Motion Capture Studios, and at PCS Performance Capture Studios
